wow...that must have been some pretty good sex. Hinata's mind was changed in just one day? "Yesterday Sasuke in the back of her mind, and Naruto in front. Yesterday.". Wow. That was a pretty good sex scene btw. I love how it wasnt just mindless sex; but involved conflicting emotions in Hinata which was very realistic. She doesn't want to marry this man, or leave her friends, family or village. She knows it is wrong to have sex with another man while practically betrothed to another, but uses Sasuke as an escape from her torn feelings. This is why I am not even sure if Hinata actually loves him in the way that he appears to love her. She sure is thinking about Naruto, while in the arms of another man, even if just a little. Sasuke is busy claiming a girl who is hurt, confused, scared and lost and possible does not even want to be claimed by him. Again, this was a very complex portrayal of your characters. Good job. I would love to know how this all turns out. Perhaps a chapter 2? hehe.

I love this one - shot so much. The complexity of its dark undertones, the beautiful way you described Hinata and Sasuke - how he cloaks his insecurities with an almost overbearing nature towards her - and the grit of Hinata's love for Sasuke - mature and woven from desperation; how it parallels a grim reality - in contrast to her almost utopian idolization of Naruto. Your characterisation of Sasuke was on point - as you've written him as I truly think he is - indifferent and wary of attachments due to the pain of his past, rather than just an arrogant jerk. Hinata's character was also perfect, tentative and shy - full of love for those she cares about but also full of desire for freedom from which they take. I stumbled upon your fic Courtship, and its hilarity and and amazing plot drew me to read more of your SasuHina fics, and you've - by far - won me over. Now, I'm off to your other fanfics to sing you praises, because I love all of them. Stay was truly a beautiful piece.
