I really really liked this, particularly the duel with McGonagall.

If only she had known the truth in canon...I really liked how you decided to do this scene-as if they were only "acting" when duelling...Fntastic story.

Er, what? In the book she certainly was trying to kill him and I don't see anything in the movie that would suggest otherwise. Also, he's a stronger dueller than she is, and wouldn't expect her to kill him as easily as yourSnape's thought implies; he would always win in an equal fight.

Brilliant I just saw that scen of the movie replaying in my head as i read this story!

I didn't like it until the very end because it seemed like exactly what was said in the book from snape's POV, then my heart broke for poor Snape. then it was excellent. :)
