I found these 2 chapters to be a good start. Just enough surprise at the actions and thoughts of the characters to be intrigue with possibility without disregarding characterization.

Great story you get a 10 out of 10.

I think hermione will suffer at voldemorts hands but over time I think she will begin to love the pain and submit to voldemort. I also think as time goes on bellatrix and hermione will slowly full for each other. I also think as hermione becomes more evil she will slowly lose all her goodness inside her and become one of the dark lord most faithful. I also think that when she sees harry and ron again she will have been compeletly converted to the darkness and her soul will be compeletly corptered and all the goodness that was once in her will be gone.

I like how Hermione was just zonked out (actually that's a bit mild: almost dying from blood loss?) and Bellatrix was scheming and then how she noticed her temp so fixed her a bit.

Whatever Bella does with Hermione in her 'negotiations' with Voldemort, I just hope they involve her looking after Hermione, and her not losing any power even if she doesn't gain much from it.

Keep the level of detail (like with her attention to the creaky stair or the foreshadowing by the slight breeze on her hair)and this story will be awesome :)
