yeah, Gil does come off as a no-nonsense, don't question if you can use sources to solve crimes, evidence never lies kinda guy. heh, I could believe, that he solves the case first, asks questions later, and completely unconcerned about a bit non-standard methods. after all, they give results, and evidence can be gathered to prove it, and nothing else matters

nice touch with ending. maybe there are more Sentinel/guides out there in the world, they just don't know it

As a CSI fanatic, and devotee of Gil Grissom, I really enjoyed this story ... but have to ask, who is Scott Parsons? That is going to nag on me ::laughing:: Very good work!
