I've only just discovered your story, and it looks as if you've probably given up on it, as it hasn't been updated since 2012. Just in case you ever look at reviews, however, I would like to tell you how much I've enjoyed reading your story - especially the last few chapters where you have, very convincingly, portrayed Snape's changing opinion of Harry. I really wish you would continue it, but if you do, my preference would be NOT to go down the love interest route, but instead to focus on the developing understanding, respect and love between Snape and Harry. I love the way that your Snape has now developed such strong protective instincts towards Harry, and how he is beginning to see aspects of Lily in him. I think it would great to develop the decorating/transforming Snape's house (at least on the inside). Also, to explore how their new relationship would work back at Hogwarts. I know that many authors have done this, but I think you write really well and would make a great job of it.

I hope you didn't stop writing due to ill health or any other unfortunate circumstances.

I think Snape is a bit out of character. After all we see from the books that he sees Harrys childhood and doesn't seem to care at all so why now? Also Harry seems to be infinitely more clumsy here than in the series. It seems like a way to make him feel both younger and more in need of guidance, of which he doesn't need as much as Snape.

I like the Harry/Ginny ship! Both are passionate about Quidditch, Ginny's optimism and assertiveness balances out Harry's gloom.
The final scene between Harry and Severus was so touching, I loved this chapter! Will you continue this story? How will the rest of the summer go? Will Severus start teaching Harry Occlumency? Will Harry talk more about his past and will Severus talk to Harry about his? Will Harry learn of Sirius' bullying? How will meeting Sirius go, after they haven't seen each other in a while, and Harry has grown close to Severus? Please don't abandon this utterly fantastic story! It's a gem!

Oh, I'm glad Hermione's going to be alright! You describe the relationship dynamics between Severus and Albus and Albus and Harry wonderfully in this chapter. And I love your attention to detail and Dumbledore mentioning that he's only been in Severus' house once or twice. How will Harry and Severus act after Harry's nightmare I wonder?

Great start! I'll definitely keep reading! You managed to capture Harry and Severus' outrage wonderfully and the situation through which they are thrust together is an original one I haven't seen before, it doesn't feel contrived. I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll be getting along!
