I just read through this, and I must say, this is a beautiful work of art. The concept of following a Fallen Survivor as he slowly progresses through the Infection is a very nice idea! The changes are slow, and, though not prominent at first, the transition from Survivor to Infected eventually becomes rather noticeable. Slowly, lulling them into a false sense of security, the Infection bides its time, slowly corrupting Carter...
Aw, great, after saying all of the previous stuff I'd really hate to see Carter lose himself to the Infection... That'd make me sad... Please, Carter, KEEP YOUR SANITY! ;~;

absolutely awesome story

Nice. I like the tension, it's very realistic; seems like Steven has seen something to make him brutally pragmatic. This is quite well written, although I spotted one or two points of awk word choice. Nonetheless though, good job.

First off, let me say this is one of the better Left 4 Dead stories. Your grammar is mostly correct save for some punctuation errors, but it wasn't enough to kill the story. . Sentence variety was good, too; I'm glad you changed it up now and again to keep it interesting. A lot of people on this fandom don't do that.

Thank you also for the believable characters! It is a relief. I like the premise of this story, too. Very interesting. Might be better than mine (which is fairly generic for a Left 4 Dead story. Heehee). In any case, youve done a good job and I will continue reading!

I saw the summary, and my first thought was: HOW DID I MISS THIS STORY! Please change it so that one of the "characters" in the story is "hunter!" Or even Nick! I can't believe I almost didn't get to read the story I was looking for for so long! Oooohhh!
