Sheesh, Sherlock, you should know you won't get rid of John that easily. He likes the danger, and more importantly, he likes you.

This was very cute. Even if it didn't really happen in the series, I think John's way of informing Sherlock he's not leaving is very in character.

You'd be surprised (or maybe you wouldn't) at how many people have trouble grasping that Sherlock is going to have serious issues coming to terms with any sort of emotional attachment. You have just made my day.
