Beautiful story. Wow. Vader'so self hatred was potrayed so well and Luke's reaction and replies were amazing. I am blown away by both of their emotions. Thank goodness Luke is so stubborn. He chose t OK believe in Anakin. Love it.

I have read many, many Luke and Vader fics through the years, and none of them have sliced to the heart of why I love them as much as this simple line: "And I choose to believe in you!"
Because I agree with you, for whatever reason, desperation or hate or mercy or grief, as much as I love them, Obi Wan and Yoda raised Luke to kill his own father. Which wouldn't have worked cause you know, Sidious, as everyone loves to forget-oh yeah, the Emperor was the reason the galaxy fell, maybe we should do something about him, all of which you capture perfectly, showing how Luke's supposedly naive, blind faith in his monster of a father actually was the only thing that would have ever worked. Wow, I just realized that Dumbledore would have probably loved a Galaxy far, far away! Although he'd probably have been right there with Yoda, but still. Sorry for the ramble : )
