Great first chapter though one little nit. Azula probably isn't a sociopath. Sociopaths don't tend to be volatile and are usually even tempered, sometimes to the extreme of seeminlg being devoid of emotion. Extremely narcasistic with a degree of schizophrenia? Sure.

Great work keeping Azula (and everyone else) in the same voice we remember from the series. Comics aside, I could have seen this happening.

You made a good ending, I don't know why I figured this was going to be a romance considering you made it plain what it was right from the summery but I thought it would be romance. You got me good with the ending when she had the blade. Azula was just being devious, all Sokka did was make her ready to resume fighting, not except her circumstances. In a way her problem has been made worse.

Nice id say sokka is smart anuf to easly notes the missing item and let her take it.

This is pretty cool, and could easily have a follow up story. I love Sokka's and Azula's character, and interactions with one another. With Gran-Gran, though her involvement was short in the story, it was a nice addition.

I like especially the dialogue between Azula and Sokka.
You fit both of them very well.
And it is definitely a very original idea to send Azula to the water tribe.
Nice idea that Pakku and Azula did not get very well along with each other - the fact that he puts water on her was very funny ;)
Very Azula like that she kissed him to get one of his weapons - I am exciting what she will do with the knife.
Good point that it was the knife Iroh gave to Zuko.
Anyway, I hope you will write a sequel!

I, sadly, haven't done much reading and reviewing in these past couple months or more, but I'm really glad I stumbled across this and took the time to read it. You clearly have a defined interest in this ship, and the direction in which you take it is simply wonderful. The climax and conclusion of the story sealed it for me -you have rekindled my affection for Sokkla and enticed me to get into writing a few stories -after I regain the usage of my left hand, of course... Thanks for writing and sharing this amazing oneshot!

Fantastically written with a glorious use of vocabulary.

You have me hoping you'll write another story that builds on the plot of this one, you left us with quite a cliff hanger. Much, in my opinion, like Frank Herbert did with his Dune books.

I love the way you portrayed Azula, not as some sniveling wretch seeking forgiveness but as her still proud self.

8.5/10 - for giving us such a wonderful story that would be a shame if you didn't build on.

I really liked this a lot! Very well written. Let me just see if I got this straight - she kissed him so she could steal the knife, right? Because foolish Azula still thinks she can conquer the world? And her feelings for Sokka too, haha!
