starscriptmage chapter 5 . 10/1/2015 Oh my gosh. I'm beginning to seriously love this couple, and this AU was absolutely perfect! Were you referring to Diana Wynne Jones's adaption of Tam Lin that Nano didn't like, by the way? It's lovely but the plot kind of swims around. And hearing about Shunsui's books make me want to read them... |
StreetlightsAndCityscapes chapter 5 . 2/26/2015 Can someone write these books? Pretty please? Love, love, love this fic! |
neyma chapter 5 . 7/17/2013 Aww, this was such a sweet story. While it left their normal antics, you seemed to portrait Nanao's personality quite well. Shunsui isn't as serious as he was in this story, in my opinion, but I don't really mind. It worked well for this, and you managed to write up a catchy tale of these two growing in their life. |
Guest chapter 5 . 7/18/2012 I don't like AUs. Well, normally. but yours seem to work for me somehow. So keep on going. XD Tera |
castlestormed chapter 1 . 7/13/2011 So cute, the image of an eight-year-old Nanao! The age difference worried me a little when I found out about it-a bit squicky for my taste-but you handled it quite well in this piece. There were a couple of things that did bother me though, just little things that I tend to nitpick about. Shunsui seems to decide right off the bat that Nanao is "different from other kids her age", which might be true but for me seems a little premature (even if you count in the fact that the man is perceptive). I would have liked some time for their "first meeting" to set before entering an observation like that. That aside, I enjoy how you write this pairing. Granted in this chapter they are first-time acquaintances but I liked how you portrayed them getting along. Bonding over stories was a nice touch. |
WinterVines chapter 5 . 7/12/2011 I like love stories with a bit of substance and realism to them better than fantasy ones anyway. It's pretty amazing how one person can change your views and mean so much to someone. Very good, sweet, shorter fic. Definitely like it. The content was awesome, considering it was writing about writing and books, and I never tire of more Shunsui and Nanao. Very well done. -WV |
JuzSomeone chapter 5 . 7/11/2011 While I might not enjoy this pairing (always prefer LisaXKyoraku), I really did enjoy this short story :D It's nice to see Kyoraku doing so well from the start to the end of the story for once. Haha, thx for the story. It's wonderful (: |
WinterVines chapter 4 . 7/10/2011 Aww, that's very sweet. Also I like subtle ways of leaving gifts like that. I'm not really a gift receiver. Makes me feel awkward and stuff. I'd imagine Nanao being much of the same. Shunsui's birthday is tomorrow right? Is that when you're planning on ending this one? -WV |
WinterVines chapter 3 . 7/10/2011 Wow, I would definitely read those books. They sound interesting. What great luck he has. I wish I could find drive like that ;-; Anyway, awesome part. Pretty easy to skip ahead years with the way that you wrote it. Next part should be fun -WV |
WinterVines chapter 2 . 7/10/2011 I do things like that, writing down notes on scraps of paper and such, and I also always carry a small notebook for it XD Poor Lisa. She never has a good end. A handy plot device though. -WV |
Snowkid chapter 3 . 7/9/2011 well i can't wait for the next chapter, I love how you put rangiku and ichimaru and ukitake in it, and it's just brilliant how you describe their lives, I had to read it over to understand it fully, but it was worth it. |
Snowkid chapter 1 . 7/8/2011 even though I love it, its so...lifeless, shunsui talkin to a girl of 8th, I think that makes it actually quiet funny, my head says PEDO but ah well thats the funny part, its so CUTE! they should meet again! |
WinterVines chapter 1 . 7/7/2011 Holy cow, I knew I was forgetting something this month. I'm only technically like 45 minutes late, that's not too bad _ A nice, sweet fic. I'm in a mood for those right now, so that's pretty awesome. A good way to spend a birthday in my opinion, having good stories and good company. Can't wait to see what you come out with for Shunsui's birthday. -WV |
