I don't really know what to say about this chapter. It's amazing, that's for sure. Just like the rest of the story. I loved Castle and Beckett finally admitting out loud how they feel, finally giving in to their feelings. I'm a little disappointed because I wanted to know who the man responsible for her mother's death was, but at the same time I'm glad you ended it like this because it's much more realistic. Overall, it was a really great story with a really great plot. I can't wait to read the sequel.

It's kind of embarrassing how fangirl-y I feel now. You nailed the dynamics these two had throughout all three seasons, the changes Castle meant for Kate. And I honestly can't wait to see what happens now that, you know, there's nothing stopping them.

Oh, I love Rick. He knows exactly what Martha would think. And the person on the door is Beckett, isn't it?

Oh, wow. I wasn't expecting that. So this man had not meant to kill her at the cemetery? Well, who is he protecting then? Sorry for the short review, but I want to keep reading and find out ;)

Best chapter yet! See, I'm about to offer a bit of constructive criticism and then get to the good part. I hope you don't mind :)

First of all, the ability you have to create a story is astounding. Frankly brilliant. However, I think there's something off about the writing. It's like it's too objective, we can understand perfectly why Castle does what he does, understand what they're feeling, but not really feel it ourselves. It lacks a little bit of emotion, something that leaves you gasping and wincing when he's being tortured, grinning when he got something right and sighing in delight when he finally acknowledges the true extent of his feelings for Beckett.

Now, I'm only saying this because I believe you have an amazing future as a writer. You're a natural. You have a flawless grasp of the way the human mind works, you have a fantastic ability to craft a storyline, give reasoning and feelings to your characters and move the plot along. I'm definitely enjoying this story, but I'm sure I could absolutely love it with just a bit more of feeling to it.

Oh, wow. You have Castle incredibly spot-on. It's like I could watch him on-screen. I loved how big a risk he took for Beckett and also Montgomery. I hope it pays off now, considering the ending.

I'm so sorry it took me so long to continue with this. Great chapter. This case really feels like it could come right out of the show. And of course I love how Rick can't help but wonder, what would Kate think? She's such a big part of his life that he just can't not wonder.

Your writing style an pacing is really gripping and the story you thought up kept everyone in character besides keeping the tone of the episodes "Knockdown" and "Knockout". There is just one thing . . . you know you're supposed to write a sequel or at least an epilogue . . . right?

There are to many questions you left unanswered like: How will Fallon and Shaw respectively handle the new situation and the evidence conveyed, not to mention the money . . .

zomg... ITS COMPLETE! SEQUEL PLEASEEE.. i feel like we are at a cliffhanger... you HAVE to write a sequel pretty pretty pretty PLEASEEEEE... this story has been incredible and i'm so glad i was able to come along for the ride.. but i really hope it isn't over..

howevr i would like to ask.. do you/anyone else think that KB would sacrifice Castle so that Kate could get the justice she needs? I don't think that she would do that... At least not my view of KB.. however if thats the way you take it I can't wait for the Caskett moments that arise in the sequel because there are sure to be some really great angst moments and I love them even though they seriously cause me some emotional pain sometimes haha.

I absolutely loved this story! I followed it here and on Livejournal, and it's been fabulous. A new favorite for me! Hope to see more Castle fic from you soon!

I love this chapter. As usual you have both Kate and Martha spot-on, all their little mannerisms and words. The way you added the flashbacks was beautiful, it reminds me of those Castle and Beckett moments that changed it all.

The dedication was gorgeous. I'll miss Montgomery like crazy.

And FINALLY someone told Kate how much Rick loves her. It was about damn time she heard it.
