At the beginning I thought it was Hermione, because of the bit with the empty bed and stuff, and then when she was talking about turning her away, I reckon it was Minerva. This is really good by the way. :)

Minerva, totally Minerva. It reminds me of Rascal Flatts "What Hurts the Most." You should write another chapter either in the same point of view or from the other one!

Why: umm...Not really sure as to why, seeing as I can also see Minerva in certain paragraphs, but the end where she said she's give away all her money and than steal some, I think that would be Hermione, mainly because I always thought Minerva would be rich. *Shrugs* Just my thought.

I love how you've written this, and I can't put it into words how much this gets to me. So I applaud you along with a deep bow. :D

Hermione, just from the fact that it seems as though min would regret but not be so emotional over it having to keep the stoney front, and therfore not write it. (based on cannon and not fics) Hermione, to me, would not allow herself to tell min. Just through fear of rejection. And fear of min.

On anoter note, such a sad emotional fic, love it.

Well, you said guess whom this speech was coming from. The truth is, I couldn't decide! Some parts sounded so Hermione-ish whilst others Minerva-ish. So, here's what I've come up with:
