What a sweet story. I love the banter and brotherly love between Gimili, Aragorn and Lelogas. I love the different facets of Legolas you show in your stories.

So Great! Tour remember myself , when I was younger I wrote a (big one) story about fictions that I liked and u made me re-read it and it was awesome. :) Thank your, for keep it with us, your great soul of inspiration! A fan.

There are just no words for it. I love your portrait of Legolas here.
Rachelle Lo chapter 1 . 2/1/2014
Beautiful. Hope, loss, despair. The lack of names clinches it as an epic, or a folk tale on the origin of hope.
Guest chapter 1 . 8/7/2013
Wow. Just, wow. That was breathtaking. I love how you keep everybody so in-character. Beautiful.

Wonderful!

Adorable, in an odd, dark kind of way, but I really do love the way you drew this story together. I was, admittedly, mildly disturbed by the description of him cutting himself, but I guess it's war, and well, you do what you have to do to save lives.

Well-written. Thanks for the good read. :)

this was wonderful - such depth! It's rare to find something so short yet with such fully fleshed characters. Legolas actually sounds his age, Gimli isn't just there for comic relief (even though he's not in it for long) and even the boy is real, not just an empty shell for the reader to inhabit. I loved this, thank you

I've been reading through many of your LoTR stories and they are very lovely. This one struck me since it was about that young boy in Helm's Deep. I admit ever since I watched the second movie years ago I always wondered what happened to him, so this sort of brought some old closure. Your stories are very well written and I really like them all! Lovely prose. (And I must wonder, were the Christian undertones intentional? :3) I love your stories!

I find this story to be depressing somehow, yet I do like it quite a bit )

The writing style matched the tone and you managed to stay in character mostly which especially in this fandom is not as easy.

Well done and an interesting story idea indeed.
Satiah chapter 1 . 8/6/2011
Again, you are a fantastic author. You write with such beautiful quality, no matter the subject you choose to tackle. I found myself particularly enjoying the banter between Legolas and Gimli, and again with Aragorn at the end; you captured their voices so well. The story itself, featuring the curious young Haleth, provided a tangible contrast between the philosophies of mortal versus immortal races, and that provided a refreshing look into the characters of both.
Sachita chapter 1 . 7/23/2011
Hello there, Kasmi Kassim! You've got such a beautiful story here. The comparison between the boy and the white bird up in the air was a beautiful and moving one- the point there rang so true, for no-one's life is worth more than the other; everyone is unique and everyone's point of view is unique...I guess I'd just like to conclude with a genuine "I really liked this, wonderfully-written".

Have a nice weekend,

Sachita
