I'm so starved for SSLE fics that I've started reading abandoned ones, but this one is not only abandoned but butchered. Confusticated and bebothered by non sequiturs and apparently missing pieces, I read readers' comments and found them also referring to things that didn't happen. This fic is not only rewritten: you've changed the plot so much that the fic makes no sense. Predictive diaries? Snape nekkid? Not found.

If you're still on here at all, please consider remounting the original story as "Twelve Fail Safe Ways to Charm Witches-OLD", marking it ABANDONED, and putting the new stuff (only) up under the title "Twelve Fail Safe Ways to Charm Witches-NEW," either fixing the disconnects in it or marking it too as ABANDONED, which it apparently is. That's only fair as it won't mislead or confuse new readers.

If you want to do nothing but preserve all the comments, just mark this PATCHED AND ABANDONED. Again, only fair.

Love it! I’ve always HATED James Potter and the other marauders ever since the books. How easy it was for Lily just over look all the bullying the Marauders did but couldn’t forgive Snape of a slip of the tongue after years of friendship. I lost a lot of respect for Lily and the books after that detail.

What was that about?
