It's funny how Eric decided that being fang raped by two vampires almost to the point of being drained didn't "harm" Sookie and that it's absolutely fine for him to use her any way he wants under the guise of "extenuating circumstances". If Sookie chooses to stay with Eric, then she's stupider than I ever thought she'd be and foolishly almost deserves his abuse.

I'm glad you're not presenting Eric as someone worthy of love. He's nothing more than a greedy, manipulative bastard who wants to take and rape but never give or love.

How did Sookie keep from laughing in Eric's face when he told her that he cared about her? He had kidnapped her, chained her in his filthy, disgusting basement, held her down so Russell could fang rape her, fang raped her himself, then expected her to save and babysit Russell after she was foolish enough to save him (Eric).

Great story - I love how it explores the psychological aftermath of learning she had disappeared for a year and events she felt as just recent (like learning about Bill's betrayal) were nearly forgotten by everyone else... Except Eric... This was never explored int he show because you know TB is all about lots of fast editing, nudity and shocking moments rather than storytelling or character development. I do agree with other reviewers that more chapters would be very welcome. Not sure if there was a plot you had in mind when you started to write this but it does feel as if the understanding between Eric & Sookie has a few more backs and forths before they truly reach an... equilibrium...
