I never expected to see this fic updated again, so I was very happy to see that you'd come back to it! Having said that, I wasn't exactly thrilled that this was the comeback chapter. Why would you write a full lemon involving NaruNeji, a couple that, looking over the comments, absolutely NO ONE likes? Couldn't we have just gotten a fade to black?

The only thing writing out the lemon accomplished was to make me dislike Naruto that much more. I already had a problem with him from earlier in the fic because the NaruNeji actually started while he and Sasuke were still together, while they were still happy. Now that he's getting good sex and a happy relationship, it's like he's being rewarded for his previous infidelity. So what if he still prefers Sasuke? He preferred Sasuke before, but that didn't exactly stop him from wanting to kiss Neji.

Meanwhile, Sasuke is trying his hardest to protect Naruto from Itachi and suffering alone. Given the circumstances, it's unlikely he's started a new relationship, so in the end, Naruto's going to have his fun with Neji and go back to Sasuke like nothing happened. He won't even have to worry about the jealousy factor because Sasuke will have remained loyal. And Sasuke will have to endure whatever jealousy he might feel over Neji because it was him who initiated the breakup.

So there we have it, Naruto gets everything he wants: A nice relationship with Sasuke, a nice relationship with Neji, and then another nice relationship with Sasuke again, all without any consequences, or anyone calling him out for cheating. It's a totally unfair situation.

By the end of the manga, Naruto had been so obnoxiously over-glorified with his countless wankers, privileges, and unearned powerups that I now side-eye fanfictions that do the same. You gave Naruto a huge dick (and Sasuke a tiny one!), which he canonically does not have. (How many times does Sai have to mention Naruto's tiny penis for it to count as canon? He doesn't talk shit about anyone else's penis size besides Naruto's.) Naruto has also got three guys who like him in the story (Sai, Neji, and Sasuke), AND he got sex and relationships from two of them. Are you going to arrange another breakup with Sasuke so Naruto can have his fun with Sai, too? Generally speaking, this story has the attitude that Naruto can do no wrong, which is annoying because he can, and does do wrong, in this story (and especially in canon).

The point of this review is not that I want to sound ungrateful for the update. I am grateful because I really loved the beginning chapters of this story. While I haven't like the direction this fic has gone in, I think you can still turn things around, but only if Naruto is made to face some consequences, something which I have found lacking in the story so far. Naruto needs to be honest about the fact that he got interested in Neji BEFORE he and Sasuke broke up, and he and Sasuke need to deal with that. Sasuke SHOULD NOT take Naruto back like nothing happened. Naruto needs to WORK to earn Sasuke back.
