It's a bummer that you adopted this fanfiction and then abandoned it. It's been untouched for four years now, so I doubt anymore will be written. Why take on a project that you didn't want to write? You could have let someone else adopt the fic instead, maybe someone who would have finished it. If you'd lost interest in the fic, then I wish you would have just written a couple more chapters to end the story and give the fic some closure instead of straight up abandoning it.

You might object to ending the fic and say that you had so much more planned for it and wouldn't want to half-ass the ending, but I say, so what? No one is ever going to see your great and wonderful plans because you fucking abandoned the fic. A finished fanfiction is always better than an unfinished one. ALWAYS. Hell, a summary of how the fic would have gone if you'd written everything out is great too. The point is, it's closure, not a forever WIP. Some people might complain about a summary for an ending, but that's like only a very, very small percentage of your readers. Everyone else would be satisfied with it because the alternative is a forever unfinished fic and no one likes unfinished fics.

I just don't understand why you had to make it another Sasuke x Naruto story... Did the original author request that? It's still really good, but Sasuke wasn't even in the summary. And until now it seemed like it could've been either Sai, Neji, or Gaara more so than Sasuke until chapter 21
