chapter 1 is the EXACT same as chapter 2!

The imagery was clear, but some of the characters seem ooc. I could understand perhaps the possum brothers would see what's happening and in their non-chalant way think "what is wrong with this guy", and maybe Manny wouldn't understand because he's generally dense. But Ellie has shown herself, often, that she is very caring and motherly, and would try to help- awakening Diego or soothing him. Sid is by nature empathic, and certainly caring as well, or at least knows about Diego's phobia, and would react accordingly. Even Manny, who I mentioned as generally dense, has past experiences enough to have had his fair share of nightmares and could at least put two and two together.

wow this was such a great story and i enjoyed reading it though i do feel sorry for diego.
pls make a sequel for it it would be awesome if you did cuz your a really great writer.

Those two had me almost in hysterics, especially the tree comment.

Haha that was funny! I was picturing him talking and moving in his sleep. It reminds me of this funny video on youtube where this sleeping dog kicks around frantically and then runs into the wall. :D

LOL can imagine Diego stating that a tree fell on him and Manny and Ellie just going "Yeah of course...*weirdo*"

Very well done detail wise and for writing in-character.

I can imagine not all of Diego's fear would have been gone after just one time swimming in Ice Age 2 so it makes sense he might have a nightmare about it.

I'm not sure if it's just mean but I found the mental image I had while reading this of Manny and Ellie awkwardly staring at Diego clawing and kicking very funny.

My favorite quiote from when everyone woke up and Diego and teh rest of the herd were staring at each other was, "Everything was quiet; not even the crickets were chirping." LOL This line was very humorous and also very well-emphasizes the point of how awkward the situation was.

I was a little surprised the herd (particularly Sid and the possums) didn't tease or further question Diego about the dream.

Very good one-shot. the parts with Diego reciting Sid's lesson in his sleep and shouting "Nooo!" had me laughing!
