I find it neat that your trying to figure out which way to take the story, manga or anime. Yet they made a season 3 that has the cirus and murder arcs in them. Why not do them anyway?

Why not follow the manga but incorporate the anime

I ADORE this story, but my usual irritation is flaring up a bit. Kagome is a Priestess, which gives her an extremely high social status in Japan, but here the English are treating as a servant. It's maddening. I mean, even royalty in Japan take heed of what a Priestess has to say. I know they don't know, but grrr. ... ... ... ... Sorry for my little rant, I really do LOVE the story so far. :)
