Love how Rebecca joined in and helped Billy imagine the diner. It's something that two strangers would do in a situation like theirs, I think, just to take their minds off of fear/panic mode if only for a little bit. Their communication was very natural. I also liked the way that you kept the zombie corpse in the room, just for that added tension, a reminder that they were still in danger.

You made me feel like I've been to that diner before. Favorited.

Wow, I loved this! It's always the odd little things that really make me feel for a short story like this, and you nailed the idea, atmosphere and execution perfectly. :) I'd love to see more Resident Evil fics from you.

A real interesting interpretation. I like the whole "fantasy/imaginative" idea to it; the duo using imagination to gain some peaceful normalcy and serve as a distraction from their horrorific situation at hand. And Billy's borderline degrading pet-names for Rebecca are hilarous. xD; Poor Rebecca; if she's not being called "kiddo" by the other S.T.A.R.S. members, she's being called things like 'princess' and 'honey' (or 'cupcake' in this story) by Billy.
