What the hell? How does this not have more than one review? It's beautifully written and you're a wonder with words the way we mere mortals can only aspire to! Thank you for writing this. It's just so in Clu's character to think that nothing is his fault when it comes to how the people around him change, and how he thinks it's all for the worse, too. Loved it when he coped with the obviously coming loss by telling himself it was only something that had taken Ophelia's face. Genius! I am off to read the rest of your writing.

Everything I know about Ophelia was gleaned from a wikipedia entry, but I really enjoyed your characterizations (and references) in this one-shot. This is a really good fiction, and will definitely be going into my favorites...thank you for writing this! (I'm glad that I gave it a try!)
