It's very quiet, very gathered together, very well written.

I wondered how on earth you could pair up Ran and Ken, and then you proved it. Brilliant.

You occassionally seem to go into a whootsy on what words to use or how to put them together and at one point you seem to forget the dot., but overall brilliant. _

If you really do get confused on what words to use or in which order, then I recommend reading as many different texts as possible and see what others have done. So long as you read there will always be one part of your head picking up the style, but being concious of it really helps on the speed. _-

The big paragraphs are an interesting experiment. I'm not sure they work, but I think so. Congrats for giving it a go, anyway.

Otherwise, nothing but praise. The sentences are exactly right in quantity and quality, to flow on, to picture, to reflect each other.

Both sparring scenes are exceptionally good; and the little italicised bits about Mamoru works just right.

And the main purpose of the fic? Yes!

I really enjoyed this story. _ I don't usually read RanxKen, but I felt like giving this one a try and once I started reading, I could not stop. I liked the characterizations of every boy. Omi is my favorite and I'm happy there was some of him in the story. I think it's great when writers don't ignore any character - more fans can enjoy the story.

I know the CD dramas, so I view Ran and Ken's relationship a bit differently, but it doesn't matter. I really liked your vision.
