I love the bits and pieces you included about their journey together. The moments you wrote on them together are really sweet and are very in character.

sorry for clogging up the review section, but this is what i wrote before the latest comment, which must have sounded strange without context (which i just realized didn't go through because i had already left a review before and the site doesn't allow multiple reviews on an account):

'reviewing after re-reading is probably uncommon (and i don't remember if i ever left one anyway), but here goes: even after reading this several times, your style is still really inspiring, the little snippets with impactful endings, the things left unsaid but open to the reader's imagination, the symbolism that captures Tsurumi's PoV (this line: 'she lowers her eyes and watches how their feet walk out of sync'). and then i'm really curious about this line: 'and he's standing too close to her and why is he staring at her and he should let go of her arm now'. it felt a bit awkward and so felt strange the first time reading it considering everything else flowed so well, but i'm thinking if it was intentional to convey tsurumi's fluster at the time?'

I'm really glad you wrote all these stories about these two, because Tsuruko is my favorite character. I like how you included real scenes along with made up scenes, along with scenes told from Tsuruko's perspective, all blended together into a perfect patchwork quilt with no fraying edges, no questions and empty spaces.

This is probably one of the few anime which made me shed anything close to tears of sorrow for the characters, and this fic in particular does a good job of making me grin... In a weird mix of relief, sadness, and nostalgia that I can't put my finger on.

I like the way you time skip through the years, showing the changes and the things that will never really change. The use of words borders on poetic and honestly, I want to read more works with this kind of rhythm and feeling in them. You describe them well, and despite it being quite awhile since I watched the anime I'm able to remember who they are just by reading. (Not sure if this serves as a compliment or not though. OTL)

Not sure if this is an error or just my pitiful grasp on the English language, but what do you mean by 'and Tsuruko looks at him looking her.' Is it meant to be looking *at* her? (Second last chunk of text)

You did another Anohana Yukiatsu/Tsuruko story. This is brilliant stuff, recounting some of the scenes from Anohana while adding a few of your own that are memorable and can be most likely happen if we had more Anohana episodes. I don't know about the rest of your stories, but thundercow, you are a brilliant writer for Anohana; you capture the characters so well and if I could write as well as you could, I would be over the moon. I do prefer your other story just a tiny bit more but this... this is gold.

Beautiful. Tsuruko & Yukiatsu really have a complicated relationship and I think you captured that perfectly well. Sometimes, I wonder how Yukiatsu never noticed Tsuruko's feelings, especially since he's so smart.

i agree with you that these two are amazing together! i really liked your chronicling of their years of school together after what happened, and, ugh, the way you wrote their interacti throughout and then that little paragraph about the rest of the spb made me have anohana feels all over again. brilliant work, as always, thundercow!
