I can’t tell you how happy I am that you pushed through and finished this story. Just like you said about having fond memories writing this story I have fond mementoes reading it. Even though I don’t know you, knowing that you’ve come from that 14 year old to a now... god 21 year old (give or take a year) were ALL dying. Anyways, it’s crazy to see how much you’ve grown as an author and I hope that you’re always proud of the story you’ve told. The characters were so fun and the crazy plot was so interesting. Thanks for writing! You made my ‘hurricane took my power so now I have nothing to do but read’ week amazing :)

I enjoyed this so much! I must have subscribed quite a while ago because I don't really remember this story, however I re-read the whole thing as well as the new chapter and was upset to see it end.

Okayy, I know I already reviewed but it really bugged me how you have 499 reviews. Like, one more review and it’ll be a perfect 500. I waited and waited and nobody reviewed so I’ve taken it upon myself to be your 500th reviewer.

So once again, absolutely wonderful story! I really enjoyed it and I honestly aspire to become a writer like you. You’re so talented and you manage to capture emotions perfectly and you really took us for a ride.

But when I last reviewed, I reviewed directly after I finished reading and it seemed like the perfect ending. But now, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the story and I’ve realized that it isn’t completely complete.

First, I think it’s great that Alex and K unit are friends now but Alex is 15 and he’s living alone. But what about Ian? I didn’t understand it completely. So Ian is alive but what, does he work with Scorpia officially now? I know that though he wasn’t very sentimental when it came to Alex, but the part where he hugged Alex and where you gave us some insight to his character showed that he really truly loved Alex. Is he going to live with Alex now or what? I know for sure that Alex won’t be able to stop thinking about him so something has to happen. Sorry, but I really couldn’t get that out of my head.

I feel like there was another reason why I thought it was incomplete but I forgot so I’ll just ask a question that I’ve had concerning the old Sergeant. At first, I thought he was a good person. Maybe a little annoying or tough, but still a good person. And then it seemed like he was a spy. But then you said that he was laughing at Alex while Rothman told him the truth about his father. So was he actually Scorpia?

Yeah and basically that’s - oh! Wait, I remember what I was going to say. Yassen Gregorovich. It’s not something big but he still works with Scorpia right? Also seems like he’s working with Ian which would mean Ian is Scorpia as well but I don’t understand why when he was a patriotic spy?

Anywayyy, you don’t have to answer or add more chapters (though I’d love it) but those were some things that I’ve been thinking about. But overall, it was an amazing story and I will never stop thinking about it how great it was. I really love the story and characters as do many others, so thanks once again for this masterpiece.

WOOO HOOO! AN UPDATE!

I will be honest, never thought I’d see this story completed. It’s been so long, I forgot the title of the story, who it was by, what the main plot was about, but I never forgot the *story*. There was always some parts and scenes that will suddenly come to the forefront of my mind but I’d never remember where I’d read it. I even remembered the witty moments between Wolf and Alex. After a while, I began wondering if it was actually part of a story or if I was just imagining things. But two things convinced me otherwise.

First, is the fact that something always bugged me whenever I read a fanfic with snake. I always thought something like, shouldn’t he be a bad guy? Didn’t he turn against his comrades? The whole plot bit with Snake and how he changed was so big I knew it was from a story and it always frustrated me that I would think about it constantly and never remember where it was from.

The second thing is “the horse is back for his rider.” I would certainly never think of a statement so... smart and... witty, I guess? I knew it came from somewhere, just didn’t know where.

I don’t mean to tell you this to offend you because I forgot. What I’m trying to say is that I read this story once before, years ago, and though the title was forgotten, main plot, I never ever forgot the story. The details. If you’ve heard the quote, “I may not remember everything you’ve said, but I will remember how you made me feel,” this is a bit like that. I don’t remember everything but I never forgot it either.

To say this in a less confusing manner, your story is absolutely incredible. Maybe you don’t see it that way. Maybe you still see your writing from when you were 14 as not all that great, but I’m telling you now to not doubt or second guess yourself. You’re an extremely talented writer. Always have been and always will be. I will never ever forget his story. I won’t forget the anticipation, loss, heartbreak, regret, drama, happiness, and every other feeling I experienced as a result of your masterpiece. It was absolutely spectacular. Thank you for the time and effort you put into crafting this masterpiece.

Now, back to being a normal reviewer...

This story is absolutely wonderful! I loved the plot, your depiction of all the characters were on point, your style of writing intriguing and mesmerizing, basically, everything about this was amazing and you certainly took me on an emotional rollercoaster I’ll never forget! I’m a little sad it’s over, but it was a great finale nonetheless. Now that this is over, I’ll be looking forward to your other stories, mainly “Little White Lie,” hint hint ;)

Omce again, thanks for writing this story. I’m sincerely grateful for it.

You have no idea how pleased I was when I woke up this morning with a notification for this story. It made my day.

I actually thought Alex died when he fell out of the plane, and then I realized that there was more left in the chapter. You did not disappoint, dear writer. I really loved the interaction with K-unit at the end, thought it was amusing.

Anyway, glad to see a new update! It was one heck of a journey; I’m glad it’s competed. I’ll look forward to your new stories if you decide to write anymore.

This was a really good finale. At first, I was upset, because I thought you actually killed Alex, but I saw there was more to the story so that made me happy. Glad to see Eagle awake, and I loved the scene in the hospital. Good work!
