-sniff- Lovely. I love how tangible Peeta's love for her is here, how he's so ready to fight someone for her, then immediately ready to soothe her, whatever she needs. I also love that she told him her nightmare was about him in pain. Most of all, though, I LOVE their exchange at the end, when it's so clear that he thinks she can do anything and she thinks he's so strong. I adore the foreshadowing you did here, when she says she doesn't know what she's fighting for - I had to smile reading that, knowing that soon she'd be fighting to keep Peeta alive and then rescued. I REALLY liked this story and thought you did a good job.

I had two concerns though.

1) When Katniss says she doesn't know what she's fighting for. That doesn't ring true for me. Katniss always knows what she's fighting for and on the tour, she was fighting to keep her family and Gale safe.

2) the ending. The stay with me and always happens later in CF. So I love the line, but because he says this later, I don't like him saying it in this instance. If it were me I'd maybe end it with them snuggling and Peeta marveling at that.
