A late 6-years-later review but I had to say that..
Why did i discover this just NOW for fuck sake!?
This is the most perfect story ever, I'm ashamed to call it a "story" as it's way above that! You are a GREAT author!
I've never loved a "fanfic" so much! This got me so emotional and literally made me cry multiple times.. I liked EVERYTHING!
It reminds me of the song "don't you dare forget the sun"
"You're a mess, tangled with your confidence, you think you haven't sinned, well you're unstoppable, your walls are impassable, I think you're better off looking alone, the boys that chase your hips could just find their way home" is literally what BB would say at light so i can't listen to that song without crying anymore as i linked it to this story.

I honestly really enjoyed your story. And I was so shocked with the last chapters.

You make me cry. You make me cry so hard. Why? Just why? In fact, that was a great story and I love it so much.

get scared - don't you dare forget the sun

the lyrics are in bb's perspective and the chorus is in light's perspective - and the "and i know you lay in bed, contemplating your own death- well just look at what you've done don't you dare forget the sun. you look down on me so casually in everything i know-" etc. i usually associate a song with my favourite fics! xD

tbqh, i can't stop thinking about this ending. gosh! what a beatiful story! i enjoy the plots and description of how wonderful BBxLight are!

One of the best fics ive ever read!

I can't even begin to describe how amazing this was. You wrote BB so...perfectly and ughhhh... The story itself was chilling, perfectly smutty and then just heartbreaking. I LOVED the ending with L and I really wish there was a sequel that was about L and Light :( But in any case you did a phenomenal job with this story.

I love this story more than words can describe. It's such an original story and I never thought I could actually ship these two characters together (i found this in a lawlight rec list). It's excellent and I could read it over and over again. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this.

love this brilliant psycho，and enjoy his ,how badly I wish he could stay with light forever and acquire happy end，I think I am gonna cry.I also love light so much as well，he is so beautiful and charming，like a delicate but dangerous art.

Oh my God...that story! I LOVED every bit of it! I loved Beyond's character...I wish, like wish with my whole heart that they would have had him in an anime because I love him to death! Oh well, at least he had his own book about him. But man, this story was intense! I love how passionate/crude/dirty talking Beyond can be and make it seem so damn hot and sexy! And his violent tendencies, who wouldn't be a little insane if you saw death all around you? (Not to mention that mental asylum fucking him up with experiments!) He was just so perfect~ And Light was adorable with how innocent he was compared to Beyond. His sense of justice was perfect, as his character is. And of course, I picture him falling for someone whose the complete opposite of him. And who is better than Beyond? How tragic that Beyond followed through with his list though! That was completely heart breaking..but that ending! Oh man, that got me. So sweet and hopeful! Fabulous job!

Oh. My. Goodness. I love this. What the heck happens next I want to know damn Au is awesome I wish there is more-

God my heart hurts. I hate you and love you for making this beautiful yet emotionally destructive fanfic of two wonderfully portrayed characters. Beyond Birthday is wow just wow fantastically insane but oh so flawed and I just can't even process proper words right now. It had everything I've always wanted in BeyondxLight fanfics and I commend you dear author for making this gem. This is definitely one going on the tiny list of fanfics that will always be so memorable and heart-wrenching for me to think about. Reviewing is something I don't often do, but you deserve this. I'm going to go bawl my eyes out, thanks for everything.
