Go on, please, the story is so good, it's a One Piece story that the truth goes beyond everything, don't give up, don't be intimidated, don't give up.

so a bunch of important shit has gone down between this chapter and the last, but no one knows what it was because u skip to random action instead of greatly needed exposition

no i dont like the mystery and intrigue, reading this is like listening to inside jokes your not apart of, it makes you confused, irritated and frustrated that you cant understand what is being said and no ones giving any context or background to whats going on

from what I understand naming will join harem and it's difficult to do while on the other ship. on the other hand u can give naruto a crew from his harem members plus characters from narutoverse. u can have them split up temporarily for the training period and some more depending on the plot u want to create

Alright, well.. Since I have been reviewing these stories like mad i'll do the same for this one.

One piece. Is an incredibly often used fandom for fanfiction writing. As a result, most fans will be hard pressed to find themselves impressed by a story. Critics will abound. For someone somewhere will believe that stories should be written for the reader not the author sending the audience into a world of his own imagination.

cue willy wonka and the chocolate factory song. "have a drink, and you'll sink, into a world of pure imagination..."

This simple bit of logic is why I love reading all the stories this author has posted so far. It is a case of quantity overwhelming quality. Except that the author is talented to the point where there is a negligible drop in quality. Instead the negative point would be the lack of length of the stories.

Too many stories to finish make for a long time to complete them all. However, to an intrepid reader, it is simply an enjoyable way to read many different stories. One piece one day, life is strange the next..

Now after all is said and done, I have gotten off track. This one piece story is the best that I have read so far from this author. I have also read "Passing the torch" and "wordplay".

Now wordplay is an amazing story. I saw it as being this authors take on a truly monumental undertaking; A well planned self insert into One Piece. Notice how I said self insert, not wish fulfillment? There is minimal opportunity, and maximum punishment for any individual in such a situation that to imagine otherwise is simply demonstrating naivete.

Imagine if you would, any good hardcore game.. All the characters controlled by the player are the epitome of edginess, brutality and adaptability. There remains next to no one that plays these games that have the same characteristics. No matter how well we sculpt their facial features in character creation.

Just as in "This Bites", "By the tits of my ancestors", "twelve red lines" or "Wordplay", the main character is consistently normal. For all intents and purposes they are weak, they struggle. Even with all their knowledge, without power they cannot make a difference..

There are few other good examples however they are subtlety different. The stories such as "Mass effect: Massive shock", "Beacon's effect" and "hero I am not" all too quickly have the main character finishing the metaphorical prologue. No matter how good these stories are as SI, They are different that the main character quickly acclimatizes themselves, in order to save the universe.. It's a perfect example of the hyperbolic time chamber, I am weak, so I need to train. Training montage go! - Now, let us kill reapers.

This is to say, no perfect soldier training, no magical ability to not need basic things like toilets, no suspension of disbelief, no mystic adaptation superpower. No. SI characters all embody mortality. Capable of little more than anyone else who spends their career behind a desk at a computer. Which would represent a huge proportion of the human population. Most have a desk job of a sort.

It is only after suffering, training and luck, (a chance to gain a power or be mutated and changed), that these characters begin to be able to survive in this new world they find themselves in.

An SI isn't wish fulfillment. I leave Invisible Dragon as a perfect case example of a wish fulfillment novel.

It is about the struggle, the difficulties, the blood sweat and tears, and the extreme probability of failure. Which does occur more often than not. In some cases the failure is their failure to recognize that they are no longer in a videogame world. In others, it's the realization that villains are also people. Dynamic and no longer as easily defeated as choosing the right dialogue choices.

Any story where the SI wakes up in amazon lily, in Boa Hancock's bed, just stares, and winds up with Hancock in love with them is just stupid wish fulfillment. Obviously to an extent also wish the same, however its not realistic at all!

If you're male, you're dead. Female, you're stone. Powerful, you will be chased off the island. As much as I would want to be intimate with Boa hancock.. she has the most difficult personality to woo sincerely.

Because if you go canon like luffy, but have an obvious state of arousal or cannot resist her conqueror's haki, you die. Regular people cannot resist haki. Therefore it makes no sense.

- Sorry for posting all this rant into the review for Hard Contact but I was incredibly frustrated to hear how many readers you have who are flaming this authors SI into one piece.

I do hope the story Wordplay continues, as i hope Hard Contact also is continued. Now personally I dislike Passing the torch. While I enjoy the twists and turns in the story, I dislike the way that Naruto is inserted into the world and who he is related to. In Hard Contact... it feels more realistic, more important and more human.. less forced when it comes to Naruto's reactions to revelations.

Hard contact is simply engaging. I do not know what his powers truly are even now. I'm still hoping for a Xanna esque situation to occur. However I am eagerly looking forward to exploring this world of One Piece with Pluton and the companions he gathers. They're all such beautifully written dynamic characters that I find myself feeling invested even if it were a slice of life story rather than adventure romance.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the same method in one of the authors bioshock story is present. Amnesia! Yet no such deus ex machina *cough* Elizabeth *cough* is present. The journey to his memories will be EPIC! Which is what I want to read.

Excellent fic, the cliffhanger is annoying as hell though. I would rather they stay with the rest of the straw hats. Can’t wait for the next chapter

I've been reading -and thoroughly enjoying- your fics for what feels like years.

And, when it comes to this one specifically, I really feel like you've outdone yourself.

Although, one point I can make, is that you shouldn't leave how the story progresses up to the reader. You have to follow your instinct.

I personally don't mind wether Naruto and Robin leave the Strawhats, or stay with them. Either direction, I'm sure will be entertaining.
