ok so i was preparing to go to sleep and i was lyin in bed thinking of this story and i was going over it in my head then i realized naruto said in the first chapter that it started a year ago... then later on wen it got to the present it was only a few weeks after he met gaara that he got beat up and in chapter one the so called "year" ago was wen gaara transfered. so im just guessing that was due to the fact that you didnt know wat was gonna happen?
