Good work with this one-shot, keeping everyone in character, and realistic Western accents and dialogue. And Rango and Beans are adorable :)

This is one of the best Rango fics I have read. Everyone was perfectly in character, the dialogue was great, the OC's weren't in the way, and it had a happy ending. Plus, there was the perfect, slightly adult humor added like the film. This was brilliant.

Great job! I was laughing and smiling with a fuzzy heart the whole time Beans and Rango are adorable, I agree, and you wrote them amazingly! Everyone else is in character, too. Awesome work, you should keep writing for Rango :)

I really would like to know where Rango got the diamond ring. Sounds like he got some help from either Balthezar or Jake or some bad guy.

You did a good job at setting the mood for the party in the evening. I could imagine the saloon bustling with activity. Everyone drinking, dancing, chatting, playing poker, having a good ol' time. The owl mariachi playing tango music (on that one guy's violin) during that one part. Must have been nice.

And when Waffles was asking about the ring and said "Is it for me?" I loled so hard. It was almost funnier when they started talking about Beans and suddenly she came up behind them.

Kind of an awkward proposal there at the end. Even more awkward was Beans' reaction. Not exactly the most romantic scene ever, but pretty good for something.

I know how you feel. There could be a few more Rango X Beans stories around here. I was actually going to post one soon. Most stories here are about Rattlesnake Jake because he's the most popular character. And who can blame him? I mean he's probably one of the most awesome animated villains of all time :)

One small thing though: When you described Owen and his family as being Kangaroos, I think you meant Kangaroo Rats. I mean Kangaroos would be pretty big for the little town of Dirt, don't you think? Plus they're in the desert.
