I really liked this. It's not a happily-ever-after. It feels like a happy-until-the-sh!t-hits-the-fan-again, which makes this piece totally believable for these characters. Like your writing and the little bit of banter between them rang true for me. Thanks for sharing this. :)

Didn't see this episode heading where you took it, but since I'm a Crews & Reese shipper, I can roll with it. The characterization of her steadfastly refusing to say the words and him teasing her about it rang very true, as did the beach somewhere. It would have been nice to see them somewhere off duty in the show, but I'm glad you could give us a glimpse of what that might look like. Thanks
