This piece of work could have as well been an episode of the original series, and one with a well-thought intriguing plot development that is! Well done and thank you for sharing it.

Penguin? I'm guessing the 'newbie' is Penguin. In the comics, well at least since the fifties or sixties, Penguin sort of just does his illegal business game, but he used to take on Batman. I'm not sure 100% how he's portrayed in TAS, but I assume Joker would find a standard tux extremely boring in black and white. I thought Firefly for a minute, but he's not much for socializing and - once again, Garfield's very different in the cartoon than the comics, and I'm not sure of the timeline - his outfit is pretty snazzy, so I'm picking Ozzie, who would be more boring to Joker than the flying guy with a flamethrower haha. Onward, too see!

I loved the, "I appreciate you being so ... Open," line, because Harley really does seem to wear her life on her sleeve. People her so wrong, though... She's open about her deeds and dreams, but that doesn't mean she's stupid or guileless. Her insanity comes from her inability to think about long term repercussions. She downplays *everything* like it doesn't matter, not just Joker's abuse. She downplays the significance of killing a huge number of people, because that doesn't matter to her, and neither do her bruises. She'd be like that even without the Joker, it's why she ever let him into her head to begin with haha.

..."And he threw a rock at him." Essential to he telling of any Mr. Jones story. XD

Very good chapter. Funny how The Joker is always just hanging around to say hello. I despise when Jervis is written as a pedophile (a lot if the famous long comics like Arkham: A Serious House, etc., seem to forget that HIS Alice was a full grown woman lol.) good work!

I love Edward's character here, I think you captured his, "I don't lie, and it's not my fault if you're too stupid to realize a riddle isn't a lie, and you can't solve it because you're a knuckle-dragging bully! life's not FAIR!" Eddiness very well. I also find it hilarious that when Batman caught him, he just brought him to Arkham - no jail, no trial, judge, or jury of your peers - The Guy in a Bat Custume said you were crazy! Welcome to Arkham! Lmao 3 I also like how the answer to his riddles are right, only if it's the answer he's looking for, which is by definition, cheating. Oh Eddie, I need to write more of him.

I lived this story. It's very cute. Oh! You said it was finished, but it doesn't show in the completed section. I'm confused.

Awesome! Totally in character! Love Dick beating the Joker... i just love Dick Grayson, period, especially when he's being epic.
