Devin Trinidad chapter 1 . 2/16/2019 Short, fleeting, brief. I absolutely love how you craft the exact words and phrases to convey the complexity of war and the helplessness that both nations feel. You can feel Romano’s desperation and his near apathy as he watches his friend fold roses. Meanwhile, you can feel how Spain is dedicated to his work not because he wants to, but because he had no other choice. It’s so bittersweet. They are together, and yet so apart—as best represented that the conversation is one sided. That ending line is so beautiful. Keep up the great work! I hope you have a wonderful day! |
Tre Corde chapter 1 . 6/20/2014 This is so terribly touching. |
ATTHESTROKEOFMIDNIGHT chapter 1 . 4/1/2013 For some reason this made he cry |
aenysa chapter 1 . 3/25/2012 Beautiful. It's amazing how something so short can convey so much where a longer fic couldn't. |
Cordesh chapter 1 . 11/25/2011 I'm not too good at reviewing, but I just want to say that I love this :D Somehow, I think you've managed to fit an entire truck-load of emotion into very few words - and the paper crane reference nearly made me cry, 'cause of all the other sad stories associated with it. I usually read long fanfic, but sometimes the shorter drabbles are better. And this is way better than a lot of other Hetalia stuff I've read xD Keep up the brilliant work! |
shades of scarlet and gold chapter 1 . 6/19/2011 This was short, but oh-so-good. Kudos to you! This was so sweet, and really beatiful. I love this. |

Little-Tomato-Girl chapter 1 . 6/19/2011 This was so beautiful! It made me cry a little, but still so good. |
