Jon is such a good friend. I love what you did with Sherlock. John is very precious to Sherlock, his only friend. That guy threatened John and made references to ordinary things, and that scarred Sherlock. so John made sure that all those things were gone so that Sherlock feels safe. So cute! I love it.

Sherlock can distance himself from physical pain, but threats to his friends drive themes so deeply into his brain that he can't possibly delete them. I don't know if I can quite see him putting all that into words but I think that those sorts of things would certainly bother him. Good thing he has John to sort it all out for him.

So sweet. I love John in this, and I think you did Sherlock very well in that physical abuse wouldn't necessarily be the worst thing for him but mental like that would get him so stuck in his head. Very true to the characters.

Oh wow. This is so good! It shows John and Sherlock's relationship really well. I love the way John doesn't pay attention to the death threats and just the things Sherlock doesn't like. Love it :D

Oh my goodness. This really ought to be given more reviews. It's fantastic! I love how subtle and sweet John is, how he's just changing everything without a word or question. And Sherlock lets him in, tells everything to his one friend. It made for a delightful and heartstrings-pulling read.

I never review, but this is wonderful. You have a clean, engaging style and a talent for using precisely the right details in precisely the right places. This is so completely in character, so "obvious" and every-day, and yet there's so very much inside it.

That's how real emotion works in real people, and so few of us have the talent to capture it. Thank you for sharing this - it's lovely.
