I've read this one shot so many times! You're so good at writing fan fictions that I feel accurately potray Gohan and Piccolo's relationship!

To simply review this as a cute fic would have been a huge disservice on my part as a reader because despite the otherwise sweet cuddly moments, this story was not heavily focused on that alone. You wrote Betrayal and Trust and that's exactly what was achieved in this story, and in that order as well. Every scene was meaningful and true and honest. I love how raw it came out. This fic touched me on a personal note and I find myself easily empathizing with all the characters. You are so brilliant.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! This was darling to read and I couldn't help but squeal at every cute scene. I loved the makeshift family they made at the end. Lovely work.

Oh, I'm so, so glad that this story took on a life of its own! Characters writing themselves, huh? Well, you can't get more in-character than that! Bad habit? Nah, don't think so. I think that is a great, brand new way of writing, one that's always bound to achieve complete beauty. And you are a unique writer for that, let me tell you.

"I have a duty to protect you, and that includes protecting you from me, too." Gosh, his love and devosion for Gohan never fails to amaze and awe me. Simply exceptional. But I don't think there is any need to protect Gohan from yourself, Piccolo. Especially not after this fic. Hugs, touches, and Chi-Chi understanding Piccolo's genuine concern and care for her son and their family in sleep? Truly, Piccolo, whether you or Chi-Chi like it or not (Gohan does), you definitely belong in a family now; this one. And yeah, we all wonder at Goku's sanity from time to time, too... He is very lucky and at times, though he does not mean to, I, too, think he fails to see that. But they have you, and because we all know that you'd never leave or betray them, you absolutely are a part of this family. To protect them, to take pride in them, to... yes, to love them!

"Piccolo was not only the protector of Gohan's life — he was also the guardian of his soul." That, my friend, is so, so true. Perhaps that's why Chi-Chi trusts him enough to let him stay and make it right with Gohan. After all, the Namek does keep the boy together when he should have already been in pieces. And speaking of together... aaahhh! Piccolo loves Gohan, Chi-Chi knows, Gohan invites both to sleep with him... all three of them? Ah! One happy familyyyy! See, this is what you get, Goku. Though Piccolo is Namekian and Chi would probably never let such a thing like this happen in the show for both fear and pride, and perhaps a bit of hesitation like in this fic, I looove this scene! You are the best, Leia! You really are. Look at this! Wow, you not only make my dreams come true when it comes to these two of my favorite characters who are the best of friends, but you have officially started and made my day all at the same time! Awesome job to you, dear author!

I've read this a couple times before, but I don't think I've ever reviewed. Shame on me because this is beautiful. I can't NOT smile, damnit! You wrote it very well. It was like a movie playing in my head. Gohan and Piccolo were perfectly canon. And you realistically brought out another part of Chichi. I'd love to turn this into a comic, if only I had time :S
