As established in the novelisation of Battlestar Galactica mini-series Cally isn't Cally's first name it is her last name her full name is/was Jane Cally. I developed an intense dislike for her after the beginning of S2 nBSG and she across as an immature woman with an immature schoolgirl crush on chief Tyrol. Cally should never have got the opportunity to shoot Boomer here Col. Tigh fucked up big time in not providing proper security for Boomer's move to her new cell and Cally should've been court-martialled for her extremely short-sighted and petty (Not to mention immature) actions.

You seem to have forgot that the Hammerheads also have a tail-gun which would've come as a nasty surprise to the Raiders.

Um, I won't name it, so as not to spoil it, but not sure that particular aerial combat maneuver Vansen pulled will work outside of an atmosphere.

Also, your switching between POVs was kind of confusing, given that the two were taking place so far apart. Maybe use a horizontal line to differentiate between the two battlefronts.
