This is perfect! I love how the meetings with the parents went and how at the end they were like 'they're never meeting each other' XD

Gold and Silver mmmake ann adorable couple! Once I was talking about them to my friend, Joe, and he started singing that friendship song:
Make new friends,
But keep the old.
One is Silver
And the other's Gold!

I swear he was making fun of me.

Oh, I love this.

The last part made me laugh so hard xD

Cricket smiled to herself as she read the story. She scrolled down to where Gold and Silver met Gold's mom. Her eyes widened and she grabbed the nearest pillow and promptly shoved her face in it, laughing histerically. 5 minutes later, she took a deep breath and glanced at the screen again, determind to keep reading. Instead, she burst into laughter again, rolling around like a freak.

I loved this. It reminded me of the firered/leafgreen saga of Pokemon Adventures where Giovanni was shown to have a heart and care about others (well, his son). I like the short bit at the end with Gold's mom; I'm sadistic that way though.

p.s. Do you mind writing a sequel to this where their parents 'do' meet?

Whoa that was scary good. You've got talent! I usually get annoyed with one-shots but yours was golden! (no pun intended) So hilarious! I literally lol'ed, and Im not just saying that.

I loved the references to the games- especially Gold's mother! I'm still laughing over that. That was so much fun to imagine.

I like the comparisons of Silver's moods to Pokemon- I think that they're pretty accurate (I loved the Gyarados one.)

I still really love your writing style- it flows well and surprises me at the same time (such as "Gold was promptly punched.)

I love the way you write Pokemon stories so much! I've become quite the Pokemon-obsessed gamer over the past half-year.
