Huh, interesting how many favorites this has and not that many reviews. Well here I am help a bit. Excellent story and a very well compounded plot. Extremely interesting take on what happened to Loki after the fall. I will not hesitate to read the sequel.

*cries* What a torturous yet beautiful chapter! TAT Loki, my Loki... You kept him in-character and that's an admirable job indeed. :-) That's how Loki is to me; not to be softened by a mere mortal. Excellent story! :D

*rubs eyes* Hmm, such a sweet and sensual lemon! ;-) You know, I don't normally like OFCs that are, well, normal and for me, the eviller they are, the better. But Rachel... She's a different case. At least she understands that her place isn't with Loki and that when the beauty of a rare love ends, she will accept it though in tears. I respect that and her commonness is all at once forgiven hehe.

*bites lip to stop tears flowing* Ah Loki! Such a lonely, confused soul... T_T I would have accepted the money though hehe - live with Loki and get rich! XD

This story is SOOOOO good! you are so talented!

A-ha, so he knew Rachel's name before because he'd read her mind perhaps? But then forgot it with her collapse? What Loki can or can't do with mind-reading is an interesting dilemma to me - you'd think if he could read minds he would at some point have caught mom or dad thinking about how he came from Jotunheim (though perhaps not, if that was so far in the past and so far from their thoughts), but at the same time, in the tag scene at the end of Thor, we see him doing *something* that's either mind-reading or mind-control-lite or something.

I really liked this look through Loki's mind, and his sort of self-realizations, especially about lying. "Loki realized that he was not a nice person" - wow. Ouch. I like how you put these things so simply and directly, it fits with the rather dispassionate way Loki is going about all this.

And the attempted seduction was so, so sad, that this is instinctively the way Loki lives his life. Rachel is without guile, and Loki is full of guile. She could rub off on him in a good way, but he's been around a long time and change doesn't come easy. I hope he doesn't instead corrupt her.

Ah, now that's an interesting idea, that someone else perhaps chose this landing spot for him. I guess we're post-Thor, so that would make it Odin. And so sad how tainted Asgard is in his mind.

Nicely done! I like how you have the element of mystery in it, that somehow Loki knew to come here, but the reader doesn't know why/how, and Rachel doesn't know...and now even Loki doesn't know. I'm presuming for now this is kind of like a PTSD thing, but maybe also he was physically injured in his fall from the bifrost.

I like that you took the time to give us a rationale for why Rachel would do the seemingly really crazy and foolish thing of taking some guy off the street into her house. He could be way worse than a thief. I've seen this scenario in other stories, where some woman takes Loki in, but I've never believed it might actually happen in anything else, because here you told us briefly the things in her personality that led her to do this.
