Hello this is an amazing story! I've read it several times on here and it's one of favourites on here. I loved the fact you decided to make Blu a sauve and confident bird as it brings a different character to life! I would really love it if you could write more Rio stories like this. Even a sequel to this story! I'd favourite and follow it! Excellent story!

Final chapter of Lovehawk. Don't really have a lot to say about it, if I'm honest.

It was good to see you and your co-author add your own little twists and changes to such an iconic story, it works out quite well.

I would have liked to have seen crucial changes though, just to see where it could have gone from there. For example, imagine if they had never bumped into Rafael and wondered off elsewhere?

It's just the little things, really, but I enjoyed this one all the same. Looking forward to reading the rest of your work.

Had the feeling the blue macaws would break into an argument again, but it is good to see Blu isn't selfish and still cares enough to risk his life to save her life.

And it was all for nothing once again, why am I not surprised? Admitting their defeat is pretty dim though, love it when characters can get deep like that.

I might be wrong here, but is Blu portrayed as emotional distressed in this story? That he doesn't know how to express feelings, so he puts up false confidence as a self-defense mechanism?

I could be wrong, but nice to see the iconic party scene enter the story again, wouldn't be a movie without it.

With Blu's hesitation at the end, could we possibly be seeing a sadder ending? Might just be overthinking it but would be interesting.

Although I can see Blu's difference in personality here, it's nice to see that there is still some of his original persona there, that gentle and sensitive bird we've come to know and love.

So, does this pretty much confirm Rafael was wrong about them flying together and would have resulted in their deaths if not for the convenience of handglide? Talk about a death wish.

Little typo at the beginning, her "vpice". I'm sure you mean voice, easy fix.

Blu standing up to Nigel is a good way to showcase his new personality, but clearly didn't do him any good, for better or for worse.

Question though: if Blu is confident and pretty much fearless in this adaption, is there any explanation as to why he lacks the ability to fly this time?

Either way, great to see they have escaped their capture and on their way to freedom. Looking forward to seeing Rafael joining the story soon.

Looks like our blue macaws have had their first meeting. Interesting to see Blu speaks Portuguese this time, wonder how this new confidence helped him to learn that.

So, Blu's acting like he just wants a bit of you know what. Not surprising considering his new facade this time around.

The end of Lovehawk, a short and simple alternative storyline. I enjoyed it, thought it was nice to see a different take of the movie’s protagonist personality. There were also some good little changes that served as a nice addition. Great story for your first co-op, and I look forward to the rest.

I both love and hate the fact that Blu just admitted the only reason he came to Rio was to mate and nothing more. I imagine it was just a heat of the moment outburst, but you never know. Looks like the final chapter is up next, let’s hope Blu and Jewel still get together in this timeline.

Looks like Blu is beginning to slowly turn into the faithful blue macaw we have in the movie, and just in time for my favorite scene within the movie. The ending part was also a great change to see within the story, deciding to not tell Jewel his feelings was quite a impactful moment and felt genuinely serious for a moment.

Remember how I mentioned I couldn’t see any notable changes in the first chapter? Well, I take that back. The scene where Blu pulls through and actually attempts to jump this time was a good concept. It’s plausible to the movie’s storyline: regardless whenever or nor he did the jump, they still would have fallen. See, it’s the little details like that that create a unique story. Nice work.

Even though Blu here still has a huge ego to him, I do like that he and Jewel are still on similar terms. His egotistic personality combined with her free spirited nature adds to their development. I wonder how their adventures will go this time, but I’m always one for a good surprise.

Blu’s definitely a lot more confident here, a little too confident for his own good. If he doesn’t watch that beak of his, he may get more than he bargained for. It’s hard to imagine how they will get together this time, but I’m always one ready for surprises.

So, I like the premise of it right away, but aside from a dialogue changes, I don’t really see any noticeable changes (newer scenes, changes in character, etc). But hey, this is only chapter 1 and I’m sure you’ll make an interesting take on the movie’s story. Let’s find out.
