I just started this and couldn't stop till I got to the end of chapter 1. This is amazing and the way you wrote was beautiful.

Waaaaah I'm gonna cry now! Such a beautiful and nice-written story! Not one bit of OOCness! Although I ship 6996, I can actually see this happening as well, with the reasons you provided in chapter 1. Also, 1896 is definitely more likely to happen TYL compared to the present. Really, kudos to you!

But it's been four years since it was last updated...update, please? Please please please finish the story!

I guess it's a good thing that the ten year bazooka doesn't let you see your past/future self because Hibari is so the type of person to try to bite his other self to death, doppleganger thing aside. Also him saying that his orders trump his future self's is utterly hilarious. Poort Tetsuya, relatively certain that's not how it works and Hibari refuting he's absolutely certain.

Also present Chrome's reaction to Nami - wait Hibari had a baby and I didn't how the heck is that possible. ahgphihgwi it's hilarious, especially when she realizes the truth before dismissing it thinking it's too outrageous.

I realize it's been a few years since this was updated and I just spammed you with reviews but I really hope that one day you'll continue this, it's just too great to not be continued.

This chapter would probably have really gone well with the type of BGM music they play in looney tunes where everyone is running as A tries to chase B and they're doing stupid things like wearing disguises or opening and closing doors.

I love the parts where the boys predictably hated the plan, likely for different reasons. The girls all 'convincing' the boys to go with it was even funnier. Tsuna being oh gosh that sounds dangerous and do we really have to and Kyoko likely going well it is a good plan and it would let us put a stop to all the damage being done to innocent lives who shouldn't be getting caught up in this.
And then Gokudera likely not wanting to leave the Tenth's side to work with Hibari of all people and Haru yelling at him to stop being so stubborn before getting their sons to write him hate mail like oh my god I love them so much.
and Hibari pouting. POUTING. HE WOULD NEVER CONSIDER IT THAT BUT OMG. And only going with the plan despite still hating it when he learns that the Ghibellines were a dick to his wife like the feels?!

Also Dino/Bianchi? I didn't see it coming eitehr but damn that is a pair with some awesome potential. Holy shit I just got a new OTP didn't I this is like a buy one get one free sale. Dino is hilarious, Bianchi tries to be the voice of reason befoe she quits (and is hilarious) and their son is adorable (and is hilarious). How he got Kyoya to be the godfather I will forever wonder.

I have to say I didn't expect for Gokudera's view on his mother to be like what you wrote but to be completely honest I like it so much. The implication that while Hayato did have his biological mother he also received love and concern and affection from his adoptive mother/Bianchi's biological mom is just - afhoghosgsne.

Oh Lambo. Someone needs to break that bazooka. And poor Gokudera.

Chrome and Hibari's schedule makes me laugh but at the same time it makes so much sense. Honestly I can see the two of them being a power couple that just motors their way through anything and anyone. Their fondness for each other expressed in their own methods is awesome too!

Also more friendship! Tsuna's family is strong because of the bonds and it's not just the guardians that have it and you expressed it magnificently, especially from the perspective of someone who doesn't fight physically. Given the nature of the original source I think sometimes there's frustration at the ones that don't fight and unfair criticism directed to that, but here Kyoko reacts realistically to her limitations, but also has the strength to stand from it too.

Personally I love your explanation on why Chrome ended up with Hibari. I just got interested in this pairing because it seemed interesting but that section might have just elevated it straight into OTP status.

But the first part of this chapter the female friendship? Like yes absolutely amazing 100/10 because that is what I love to see. The girls supporting each other and being so good for each other.

Ha ha, you're right. It didn't take two years for you to update; it's going strong at 3.5 years and still counting. But I have patience and hope. I've seen authors update after 8 or even 10 years of hiatus after all xD.

Anyway, interesting plot you have here. So if I understand correctly, Kokuyo is marked as enemy territory in the future. Does that mean Chrome's relationship with Mukuro went downhill? Hm, she didn't give off that vibe but I guess we'll see. And I'm looking forwards to the meeting of Future!Hibari and Present!Chrome.
