I was planning on reading this over a few days but I think I finished it in about two. I thought It was well written. I didn't like Alfred at first but I guess it's fear/concern that made him act how he did. Either way he kinda grew on me and I liked the interaction at the end. As I said before, a well written story.

Ahhhh this makes so much more sense. Also, I love that you included the Canadian to American. As a Canadian, I didn't even notice the difference xD

I wish there was more... I really did like it especially how Alfred reacted to Ivan talking about getting married to Mathew and having him as a brother! XD

Okay, okay, this was amazing. No, I'm freaking serious I can die happy now, ugh, I just wanna frickin' swan dive off a cliff this was so great. Now I'm gonna have to think about this all night and not do my homework. I blame you wonderful author. I'm also going to check out your other story, if it's half as good as this one then well, fuck my life, that's gonna be beautiful.

Now I feel a little bad for Alfred, but at least Matthew got a backbone. :)

Gahh! I am really enjoying the story, but Alfred's selfishness is really annoying me. And I feel bad for Ivan. I can't wait to see what happens next. :)

You are amazing. Your characterizations are wonderful, not anywhere near as irritating as what I am accustomed to. They fit well together, and this story has a wonderful plot.
One thing that amazed me was the Canadian translations at the bottom of some of the chapters. I am Canadian, and I spent ages laughing and in wonder at them. American English seems a wee bit... retarded. XD A lot of this I didn't know wasn't common English at all, either, so thank you.
I really like how you didn't make Matthew a complete pushover, or completely insane. His character is a very good mix of quiet and sturdy.
Ivan's character is also quite nice. I like how you played up the quiet aspect, instead of the bloody insane part of him. It definitely suited this story better.
I also really like your General Winter. He's fun

Alfred's mom thought Matthew was dead? How horrible! But it makes for a great back story.

Matthew is so kind. I liked it when he stood up for Ivan.

I'm enjoying this fic. It reminds me of Ouran Host Club and how Tamaki becomes friends with the twins.

truly excellent piece of work, absolutely brilliant. u did a wonderful job keeping the angst and fluff in balance with ivan and matties emotional problems, and i loved aartie here; he just makes an excellent supporting cast, doesnt he?

"-Alfred poked his head around his father to stick his tongue out at his twin, but stopped when he noticed that the smile that had been on Matthew's face mere moments ago was gone. It was now replaced with a worried pinched look and his little eyes seemed to be filling up with tears. Matthew was anxiously trying to pull his hand out of his father's large grasp.

"P-apa…. You're hurting my hand… Papa... please let go. Papa…."-"

I haven't felt so depressed about a few sentences in a fanfiction in a long time... that really pulled at my heart strings right there. You really are good at this... I'm not even a Canada x Russia fan (because im... prucan... but whatever pairings are pairings. im not gonna get into no debate.) but I like the way you're portraying it here... and I might just start to get into that pairing as well. Awesome chapter by the way!

Amaizing that was awesome I loved it so much hope you do write that alfred story because. It sounds cool but great job and I'm sad it had to end but I was so hooked on the story at least now I have time to read my other stories and be done with them so I can read more of yours without worrying that I will never finish or start my other stories and thanx for the insperation I won't copy but at leats now I have an idea of how to write my story !
