Brilliantly done, so sad but pitched perfectly. Really captures the characters well and is just so realistic. That's exactly how I think the characters would react, so much so it's a bit of a theme of my own piece. I'd be happy if you read it and let me know what you thought!

This is so awesome a story that... that.. Ah hell, I don't know! I am not a big fan of Esposito/Ryan pairing.. Bu tyour story has completely blown me over.

Exquisite style of writing. Each word has a significance. You really have done justice to Leonard Cohen's song.

Favourite line : "There's a question there, a plea that's impossible to misread, but Javier shakes his head, pretends to not understand, and says with a smile that's only slightly broken, "Don't be stupid, Kev. You're going to be great.""

Wow! You have captured the beauty and passion in a messy but perfect relationship.

Also the lines : "So we fuck it up together, then," he says, and turns to catch Kevin's lips with his own.

Outside, there's the muffled crash of someone stumbling into a dumpster.

You get the idea that the story doesn't have a happy ending and it is probably going to break your heart, but you want to read it anyway.

Normally I dislike angst. As in run hell-bent in the other direction. But this, damn, this was GOOD. I love this pairing, and even though I thoroughly appreciate a happy ending, a well-written angsty one holds it's own appeal, too. Congratulations, I loved it :)

I loved it, even though it's heartbreaking. I'm a sucker for happy endings so normally I don't like angst, but it was great!
