I am a big magneto/mystique shipper and absolutely loved the first chapter! excellent writing and good pacing, although magneto did say too many cliche words, but i do get the message. Your second chapter was good, but it wasn't as good as your first! It looks like you're not updating this, but I would like to see this evolve and I would definetly read it and review it!

This is an awesome fic! Although I'm typing this on chapter one..it will encompass both one and two. First of all, you've got the narrative down pat. It is not only a seamless transition from the movie but also into your storyline. The characters are spot on..and i really feel the connection with M&M. The writing is also to be commended. This is a well-crafted bit of fic and I am not only impressed by the quality but also the care in which you put into it as well. Now I see by your profile, you're muse has drifted to Thor (and who could blame you ) but i strongly encourage you to finish this as well. You've got such a fantastic foundation and I'd hate to see this be one of many great fics that are let unfinished.

Whatever happens...know that you have my gratitude for writing this (bc there are very few Mystique/Mags fic out there worth a damn) and my humble pleas to continue. Cheers!

Your ending was FAR better than the one in the film. I like how Eric didn't throw Raven flying back on the beach. :)

On another completely unrelated note I was wondering what you thought of the new chapters on my story "Forced into Darkness." You were one of the reviews that stuck with me from the beginning and I noticed that I hadn't received any on the last few chapters, so it would be great if you could leave some reviews and let me know what you think of them.

I absolutely loved this. You did a great job! Ever since watching X-Men First Class I have been drawn to this pairing. They just seem to fit. I only wished that in the film they had elaborated more on the relationship instead of kind of leaving up hanging and then BAM I came across this awesome fic. You fill out all the bits I feel they missed out and do it very well. It is probably THE BEST X-Men fic of this pairing that I have read, and I've read most of them. You get them both spot on and you writing flows really well.

Great last line: "She gave him an indecipherable look before leaving the room."

I think this would have been a better ending to the movie, honestly. There's just something wrong with Erik inflicting Charles's injury. I like this better. And I agree, the Azazel, Angel, and Riptide joining is a little odd. The comic book Magneto would have had their heads. Writer's choice, apparently. Just like the weird Ultimate series where Magneto stabs Charles with the spear... It's so OOC.

I love this! I can see you haven't update on a while, but if you feel so inclined, please continue with this - it's great! I absolutely agree with you on Raven & Erik's feelings for each other! Great story! :)
