Well written, I must say. Descriptive on most of the parts and I wanna see some more. Although, there were some mistakes on the tenses you use. If past is the tense, then past it should be. We, readers, should not see any "is" 's there. I suggest you reread these chapters and try to read it as if you didn't write it. That way, you'll be able to see some accidental mistakes and feel what your reader will feel when he/she reads your story, mmkay?
