| ThreeKittiesDancing chapter 1 . 5/24/2013 Very cute little fic, even though it shows Kogoro a little OOC. It would be nice if he would just once show this level of caring or concern towards Conan in the series, rather than forever hitting and throwing him around like an abused puppy, or even just the constant insults he spouts at the little kid. You have to remember that to Mouri, this is a 6 or 7 year old boy, he should be more mindful of the cruel things he says to a child! (Heck, I can still remember some cruel things my grandmother said to me when I was about Conan's age that hurt back then, and never stopped hurting.). One of Kogoro's only redeeming qualities is the way he cares for his daughter, so it was a nice change to see him behave in a fatherly way towards the boy that has become a part of their family, whether he wanted it or not. As to when this would've occurred, I would place it after he was shot in the cave-perhaps in your line of events, the hospital didn't keep Conan as long, so he is still recovering as home before Ran's play takes place. |
