SheWolfMedjai chapter 1 . 10/16/2016 Very good. It has almost a calming effect. |
LaylanatorXVII chapter 1 . 8/26/2015 Ouch. This made me sad. :-( But God, your characterizations. I love them. I love this. Favoriting this. Gonna go see what the whole 'rejecting Heimdall' was about. Thanks for writing! |
Machaon's Apprentice chapter 1 . 3/16/2015 What a nice story ! I loved the hindsight you gave us into Sigyn's perspective, as well as the ending ! |
blueskydog chapter 1 . 3/19/2014 I love this so much. Your writing is impeccable, beautiful. I've always loved Sigyn and was upset that she never had much to do with the original myths. I'm intrigued by how you have her question the things most folks in Asgard take for granted: the making of the wall, Ragnorok, the authority of her own father. And I love Loki, too, and am so glad you capture his mischievous side, because I do not believe he was ever truly evil. This is my first venture into this fandom. I love Loki's lines about "inescapable fate"-how fitting that he is the only one who does not believe in it. And Loki's shape/gender-changing is very well done, too. I really, really love this line: "She wonders how much of this is truly Loki, and how much is merely concession to Asgard's customs." This is Loki to a T, who was forever misunderstood by his so-called family. I'm so happy you make Sigyn notice this. And this line speaks for everyone who has had to conform to society's customs because the person they truly are cannot be accepted. A wonderful story. |
Caramel.Raven chapter 1 . 11/24/2012 Wow, I did not expect this. Despite the stories brevity you managed to give Loki and Sigyn such character depth and you created and upheld such a strong atmosphere. I could feel Ragnarok looming over me with every word. I also loved how you portrayed Loki, his ‘flirts’ with change and fickleness and his teasing playfulness when talking to Sigyn, someone who doesn’t judge his nature but is fascinated by him. Loki deserves to be admired and he loved it so much that he even did favors for Sigyn like cleaning the meadhall. It was truly a beautiful story, really captivating. LG CaRa |
minerva-one chapter 1 . 6/9/2012 This is very nicely done. Loki and Sigyn are well-thought out and believable. Keep up the good work! |
Hyper Kid chapter 1 . 12/4/2011 I love this story, I really do. Especially your version of Sigyn. :) She makes me giggle, and better still, makes sense with the myths! It makes me a little sad though, because we know how this ends. :( |
olivia chapter 1 . 9/17/2011 this was an amazing story and i never wanted it to end! |
anodyneAvian chapter 1 . 9/12/2011 I really enjoyed this. Lot's of great mythology and some spot /awesome interpretations of the characters. I love this to bits! |
dglsprincess105 chapter 1 . 8/8/2011 This story definitly showed a great deal of how Loki behaves, especially with his double0-meanings and play with words. You also did a good job showing the playful mischivious Loki and the dark side of him. |
KrnYong chapter 1 . 7/6/2011 this was beautifully written and the dialogue between sigyn and loki was so interesting |
Voldy's pink teddy chapter 1 . 6/7/2011 This is such an atmospheric story. I can't help but agree with Sigyn and Loki about the wall, and about fate. I like Loki's point of view on his part in the prophecies, and how he's going to create his own role. I can understand why Odin's efforts to break his foal would upset him as a mother (the gender in this sentence is confusing me a little, lol), and it was interesting to here about Ragnarok from his point of view. I also love her understanding of his nature as a shape-shifter, a teller of stories and a liar. His truths and lies are so interconnected that they might be the same thing, and when he changes forms to the old woman, he is Loki and the old woman at the same time. Fascinating. |
Nelja chapter 1 . 6/7/2011 I love this fic so much! Your Sigyn is adorable, and there are sentences which are quietly poetic, and I love how Loki is mysterious, and how you play with shapeshifting, how it changes things for Sigyn even when she knows. |
