i have never used this website before but i heard people talking about this fic and how it was written like an episode of the show

god damn this is amazing so far, and it astonishes me how its got no comments or anything yet.

Definitely the best MxR fic there is. It was surprisingly poetic throughout, and conveyed the wonderful growth of a relationship with tact and a heavy dose of realism. I really have to applaud you for such an excellent story that in many ways transcends the source material and makes it human.

This was an amazing read. Morby is a strange shipping, but that's part of what attracts me to it. And you pulled it off really well. You got me hooked until the end.

I admit I did have a problem with Pops thinking that Don was gay. That was not in character at all, and made me cringe. I also didn't quite understand the reason for Margaret and Ellien to chase Mordecai and Rigby into the dump.

But besides those two examples, the characterization was spot on. It was exactly how I'd picture the characters in the show to react in these situations. And that is very hard to pull off, but you did a splendid job.

The last part of Chapter 8 really hit me on a personal level. I am a bisexual man. Most of the men I have crushed on are straight. So I can really relate to Rigby here.

It's heartbreaking because you know Mordecai cares about his friend, but he just didn't love him in that way (at least not yet). So it's interesting to see him give it a shot.

Internalized homophobia/biphobia is a major theme here. Rigby doesn't want his feelings for his best friend, and struggles to come to terms with it. Meanwhile Mordecai tries to use Margaret to weasel out of a possible relationship with Rigby. Overall a lot of frustration and self hatred, and again it's easy to relate to them.

Was surprised to see BensonxSkips. Thought you did a good job with that. Also an odd pairing, but you did a good job. I wish you could have cut to another flashback instead of dumping us with information in the chapter with the picture frame. But otherwise good job.

I loved this! The story was amazing, the characters were compelling, and the conclusion-while bittersweet-was also very satisfying! You earned yourself a follow, my good man!

But honestly, if you even get this at all author, I just want to say i ADORE every chapter of this story. The way you wrote is amazing, and I can tell you put alot of effort into this. Im also very glad you got the characterizations right! You see, its kinda rare to find odd-shippings with the characters as themselves. You nailed it bud!

In all honesty I like it when gay ships don't have a fixed "top" or "bottom" in the relationship. I like it when they are both treated as equals and no one is dominated (all the time). So I'm kinda hoping you keep to that promise Rigby made at the end.

So, I've been looking back at this and jesus. The story was nice but the "lemon" leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, nice though.

Dude, poor Benson and Skips. I hope Skips is able to find those pictures or something some time soon. And I understand Benson's behavior. Lashing out in embarrassment is completely normal. Just ask Rigby!

And that play fight at the end was adorable. Too bad Rigby's only cool with touching when it's a joke. Ah, well. Maybe that will change with time.
