   rebecca-in-blue chapter 1 . 1/15/2019 Man, what an intense take on Cuba. I really love how you find a way to avoid their Beach Divorce here. Wise words from Erik's mother - the very person he wants to avenge by killing Shaw - they had to be painful, but just what he needed to hear at the same time. I also like the part about Charles having to fight for something for really the first time and how much Erik means to him; despite his thoughts about Moira, I think it gives this a good Cherik feel. |

I thoroughly enjoyed it. :) The way you described how Charles felt, and thought was really great, I loved how you could see his compassionate understanding of everyone prevailing through (especially between him and Erik, as well as Moira). I also appreciated that he will get the use of his legs again, and the moment between Erik and his parents was an inspired and beautiful moment, to show why/how Erik didn't "fall" into immoral ground. Thanks for writing it. I think the brotherly relationship shows through really well, I don't know how to describe how you did it, but you did it well! I look forward to the rest. |
