This is awesome! Natsu is superb here! And that fight was brutal! And you choreographed it quite well! And the way you portrayed the dynamic duo of "Dead or Alive Alpha" like Ryu and Ken (which is fine considering they are the Ryu and Ken of my story anyway.)

great chapter, couple things i noticed... Ayane is referred to as the female tengu, not the woman tengu... lol

also during Ayane's fight you said that when she slammed into the support it left an imprint of her spinal cord... don't you mean spine? the spinal cord is buried deep inside the spine and is very fragile... that's all the nerves if it breaks it would cause either paralysis or death...

other than that very good chapter

Man! And I thought the ASDAS and Muramasa Blade were overblown weapons themselves for DOA. Just how the hell does Zell get the Manatsume and Gunblade?! Anyway, this is a really good chapter you cooked up. It moves along in a fast pace, you've described the fight scenes and emotional drama properly and it's those reasons why I put you as favourite author in the first place. My only gripe is that you've made Ayane fall in love with faaaaaarrr toooo quickly! (But then again, my view of romance is somewhat different. Sorry! :( I guess I'm more of a guy that handles things like Damon Black. Oops!

Oh and the way Ayane dies in the dream sequence took the cake for this chapter and it really speaks for your talent for writing. Nice work! I look forward to see more!

another great chapter, just have a few comments...

1) when did Takashi start using the -sama honorific with Ayane, yet stiil uses -chan with Kasumi?

2) you called them stepsisters, they are half-sisters as well as being cousins... lol

can't wait to see what happens, see if this is all a ploy by Ayane-sama to get Kasumi-sama to lower her guard around her, or if she's actually 'changing' like she stated.

wow, completely blind-sided by these turn of events...
