Okay, so I was just going through FanFiciton and I was pleasantly surprised to see this story was up and completed. Great job! I completed so few of the FanFiciton I set out to write so I give you credit for sticking with this story. :)
Siren forcing Jey to make a promise without specifying the details is such a kid thing. I think it fits. But now that Jey has made the promise, I really don't see him following through. XD
Also, I love Natsu as a father. He and Lucy are written perfectly!
Also Erza at the end of this chapter mentioning feeling isolated from being so much stronger than the other guild members... That feels very real. Her strength in the series always felt played for comedic relief but this expansion of her character is part of the reason why I love FanFiction so much.

Your writing is great. I think you do a great job capturing each characters personality, and I love the way you write the kids.

Your writing does not suck! At all! You are a very good writer so ignore anyone who says otherwise. I have more read your whole story, but what I have is way better than half the writers out there. Don't let what other people say stop you from writing and don't believe everything people say. I bet that half those people were just saying that because they wish they could write as good as you. Most story's I read end up annoying me because it was poorly written. Your didn't I hope you don't give up writing because of what those people said.
