I absolutely adore this story, this is probably the most realistic depiction of this scenario I've read so far, and i love Sirius's last line, it feels so real it's weird that it's not straight out of the books! I think you captured every character perfectly

I always imagined when Marge said" if there's something wrong with the bitch, theres something wrong with the pup" and the Sirius completely loosing it and saying "not my pup!" Just ahhhhh god yessss

Oh, yes! That was MUCH, MUCH better! (No offence of course, you said it yourself) I could imagine Sirius scoffing down the last if dessert before leaving dramatically. In my head I imagined him pointing at Petunia and saying: "Tuney, you are a BRILLIANT cook. *licks finger* Thanks for tea, and harry, get your stuff. We're leaving." Awesome Sirius is Awesome
